Come and celebrate an incredible year of photography, creativity and community with us at the We Are Photo End of Year Showcase!
Whether you've been with us since the beginning, joined us this year, come along to every meet-up or you're yet to attend your first one, you are invited.
This isn't just about looking back at another year of We Are Photo. It's a chance to get together, celebrate our members, showcase your photography, meet other creatives and have a genuinely fun afternoon together.

New for 2026 - Member Awards
This year, we’re introducing something extra special to our End of Year Showcase: the We Are Photo Member Awards!
Throughout the year, we see so much more than great photography. We see members supporting each other, stepping outside their comfort zones, growing in confidence, getting creative, making people laugh and helping make We Are Photo the community it is.
So, for 2026, we’ll be presenting 10 special Member Awards during the Showcase to celebrate some of the wonderful people within our community.
From creativity and personal growth to community spirit and those unforgettable personalities we all know and love, each winner will receive their very own star trophy to take home.
The awards will be revealed and presented on the day — so you’ll have to join us to find out who our 2026 winners are!
Because We Are Photo has never just been about taking great photographs. It’s about the people behind the cameras too.
THE 2026 PHOTOGRAPHY SHOWCASE & COMPETITION
This year, there is no theme.
Instead, we want you to choose one photograph that you truly love.
A photograph you're proud of. A photograph that represents you, your creativity or the way you see the world. It could be a portrait, landscape, wildlife, street photography, an unforgettable moment - the choice is completely yours.
It does not need to have been taken at a We Are Photo event.
Your photograph will be professionally printed and displayed as part of our End of Year Showcase, alongside work from photographers across our community.
And at the end of the event, your print is yours to take home and keep!
🏆 THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD
The vote is in your hands!
Every photograph displayed in our Showcase will be entered into the We Are Photo People’s Choice Award 2026.
Throughout the event, guests will have the chance to explore the gallery, enjoy the incredible work created by our community and vote for the photograph that captures their attention the most.
There are only 50 showcase spaces available, allocated on a first come, first served basis, so make sure you submit yours early!
Entries close: 1st November 2026

COMPETITION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Your photograph:
Can be portrait or landscape orientation
Must have been taken within the last 5 years
Must have been taken in the UK
Can be any genre or subject
Must be a photograph you have taken yourself
Must not contain AI-generated elements. Standard editing, masking and tidying tools are fine.
Should be supplied at the highest resolution available for printing - ideally around 5000×3500px.
Entries close: 1st November 2026. One photograph per person.
