Since launching in December 2022, our inclusive photography meet-up and online community has grown into a thriving space for photographers of all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals.

We Are Photo has quickly become known for its welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Every month, we host free photography meetups across Essex and Hertfordshire, giving members the chance to explore new locations, practice their skills, and meet like-minded creatives.

Giving Back Through Photography
At the heart of We Are Photo is a strong sense of community — and that extends beyond photography.
In April, we came together to support our local community in a meaningful way. As a group, we donated 30.5 kg of food to Harlow Food Bank, helping provide essential support to families in need. Thanks to this collective effort, we contributed to the creation of 73 meals for local families.
This achievement was recognised with a certificate, but more importantly, it reflects the values that define We Are Photo: kindness, collaboration, and real-world impact.
